Nice axolotls, you got better photos of them?

I have 4 Juveniles coming in soon! This is my 30 gallon, no it's not a permanent for all of them.
The heater is only for the cycling process, of course.
Still have to ad: Black sand, live plants & maybe a few more rocks.

Thanks! That's what I am thinking, the barrel & the castle are both hides. I was thinking of getting some slate type rock to make a few more hides for them & take out the light house if it gets to crowded!

What size axie are you putting in there? :D
Id just be careful of the axie jumping out if its a little bigger, they tend to do that :(

Here is my updated tank :) 40 gallon, 4 axolotls. All fake plants :)

My axie tank, two (soon to be three) axies in it, no fake plants.
Also, please don't comment on the amount of sand, I have reduced it, and the rock in the bottom left is gone too. And there is more water in it now

Yep that's Stanley! Love the little guy. I have a more white 6500k light now, the lighting was a little yellow in that pic and he had a bit bite of shrimp in his mouth:p

Stanley is such a little (well, big..) monster! He's adorable.

Is that his permanent setup? I'd definitely upgrade if possible to give Stanley more room to stretch and swim :)

Oh I'll definitely get him a bigger tank as soon as possible. He grew up fast because I placed him in this 20 gal and fed him well, so I'm keeping an eye out for bigger tanks. I just need something that will fit on my dresser haha, and I'll need to sneak it in (my dad doesn't like when I get new tanks

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail. Had a question that I just want to be sure of. My marbled newt is a little over a year old and has started to develop and I noticed that he is starting to swell a little below his abdomen. I guess I’d like to know if they are his testes or if I need to be concerned.
