My axolotl just laid eggs

Everyone seems to want the straggler! That's good, at least we know if he makes it he'll be getting a good home.

If you'll be buying black worms in bulk, then I could probably get some off of you for however many pennies is fair. If that's how you're doing it, I see no harm :3

And about the little guy that's healing...is he going to need a home? I'm a sucker for critters down on their luck, all of my pets are rescues. And because I actually saw him at his lowest, I want to take care of him more ;__;

The babies are looking great! I'm so excited to know that at least one of them will be mine.

Edit: I'll take him if you don't >_>

Lol it's the same way in our house hold, we have several twisters that otherwise would probably have been culled.

I'm not sure if the guy is going to keep him or if he'll be put back into the shop when he's better. I was just down there again and got an update on him, also his name is Skully as I was reminded. I have some twisters that you're welcome to if you like the extra derpy kind that need lots of love.

With a tank your size you can always have more than one~ After all is said and done Ill still have 40 to rehome and they do great in pairs or more if well kept which I'm sure you'll do.

I plan to have more than one :D They're just so cute, and with a tank as big as mine it just seems silly to have just one. I'm hoping I'll have the money to buy the few things that are left to get here soon.

I hope he sells him again, because I would love to have him.

Haha agreed. What's better is as soon as mine are on black worms you can come take your pick of whoever you want since they're just enduring a short trip and not long distance.

I can ask him next time I'm down there, mind you Skully might be $40/50 dollars if he goes back into the store even with his flaws. He's also prone to limb biting and is better kept alone than with others, just remembered that too.

Hmm, in that case I would probably have to hold off on him. That's too bad, I hope he still gets a good home. Would the babies be ok that little in my tank?

He's a sweet boy but a bit temperamental for sure.

Hmm well that tank looks pretty big so it would probably be overkill lol. I would set them up in a 10 gallon tank and cycle up your tank and get it nice and pretty and play around with it until they're big enough.

I salvaged-ish an old filter meant for a 20 gallon, and while it may be a bit run down it should work ok for a 10. I can put my fake plants in that one and wait to build up my real plant army in the big tank while they grow :3

Perfect! That will make things a lot easier for you lol. I bet the planted one is going to be super beautiful.

Wow, thanks! the one in the middle left looks great! ( they all look great, but you can see the one in the middle best in the picture ). thank for sharing, much appreciated. -Seth

Yeah they're all growing nice and healthy, real chunky monkeys. I'll try to keep them going every day.

No I didn't, he's been doing well in the tank with the others. Haha most of them are growing nice and big. One doesn't seem to have gills or be eating right but I'm sure you'll find some real nice ones.

There getting so big! They look great! Feeding bloodworms now I see. Looking good! -Seth

They really are. And so far we've only lost two over here so going pretty strong. They're still eating brine shrimp but the black worms are there in case there's not enough brine shrimp to satisfy them.

My eyes aren't good enough to tell honestly lol. My friend mentioned them having little nubs. There is a mishap with the shrimp though so there won't be any until tomorrow and I may have to go buy daphnia for days in between
