Please post pictures of your tank!!

Iv only made a few posts on the forum so far but this looks like a good place to get out there. :) This is Jabba, and his current setup

.
Holy ****! His or Her Colors and pattern are AWESOME!!! I Love the setup and that tank is like my dream tank practically. Nice Job!

Thank you, Jack P. He's so colorful because he's a larval tiger salamander, I'm hoping that he is neotenic and will stay looking like an axolotl, but if he morphs I'll love him all the same. Also I'm just assuming Jabba is a he lol.

Here's my tank, with my gorgeous Sid :D He loves his tank set up because he has some lovely hiding places. His tank is 80cm across and 30cm back.

This is the small 10 gallon tank I have for my fat, happy axie, Mudkip. The teacup is his favorite thing in the world, but he also loves to float. So hiding spots don't really mean that much to him to him anyway. :) I found a fellow axie owner in my area who's going to sell me his 20g set up, and he also has some wild and mel GFP babies. So Mudkip will have a new tank, and quite possibly a new friend in the near future. :D

WOW!!! His color is incredible!!!!!! I've never seen an axie like that before. What do you call that? And very nice set up, but I'd definitely add more plants and hiding spots for him!

On the weekend I moved my 3 mature males (1 wild type, 2 leucistics) to a new 200 litre tank. The left hand side has another level of hides above the first one, and I plan to do something similar on the other side.
The second picture is the 200 litre tank for my 3 juveniles (1 wild type, 2 coppers).

Just got my new 20g tank set up and got a new axie, as well! :) He's a wild gfp, and I named him Amigo. I think he's right at home with my leucistic.

New babies Peaches and Lemon in their 15 gallon setup! I plan on getting a bigger tank soon, right now they are only 3 or 4 inches long.

oh thats a very nice bit of driftwood! what type of moss have you tied to it in your tank? I found it was really messy (the type I got.) it flew off and got stuck in my filtration lol.

This is my current tank setup, I haven't placed the Axolotls in it, because I'm terrified of them biting eachother. I have been debating a redo before I put them in, it feels too planted, I went overboard with the aquatic plants, as you can tell lol.

Holy cow!!! This is a lot to keep up with, but just wanted to say all you guys have SUCH nice tanks.

Do you all like using sand? I was using river rocks but found that they were trapping/hiding decomposing organic material so I've just switched over to a bare bottom tank. Whats the maintenance on sand like?? It looks SO, SO nice...

Also noticed many of you use little flower pots as hides, that is a great idea! I think i will have to get some for Jesse & Tulip! Right now I just have these fake rock arches, they can fit under them just fine but it doesn't have much of a "hide" feel.

Anyway - lovely set-ups everybody. Can't wait to keep checking back on this thread to see more!!

Of course, the photo of my actual tank didn't upload.

I have both of those decor in my tank, the large driftwood cave thing, and the log cave.

Hi Guys, I use to be on here years ago as "vampirepants" 4 years ago I moved from New Zealand to Australia and had to sell my beloved axies, (I got a tattoo of one to remember them by).

I havent been in a position to have any since we moved until now! introducing Cleo and her
5x2 ft home. I will be adding a couple more axies in due time.

Please note lights are on MAX 2hrs a day, tank is in a room that gets no sunlight so is in the dark 90% of time.

Comments/criticisms welcome!

Had a question that I just want to be sure of. My marbled newt is a little over a year old and has started to develop and I noticed that he is starting to swell a little below his abdomen. I guess I’d like to know if they are his testes or if I need to be concerned.

Hello!!! I'm new to this website and idk how to ask a proper question on the designated spot yet, so I'll ask here, I'm a first time Axolotl owner, and my dad used to run an aquarium store, anyways... Orca, my Axolotl, seems to loose parts of her toes on one limb from time to time, I can't seem to find the problem. Tempature is well, she doesn't seem to have any infections or anything, though. And I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a vet in Brazil for amphibians that are in a reasonable distance to drive without stressing Orca out too much

Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
