There are now 6 different live plants and driftwood 4 shrimp and 2 4.5 inch axies.

This is my first tank, only small as my Axies are juvenile!
Sand subtrate, Fluval U2 filter various fake plants and hides.

Just moved my axies into this tank. Thinking about getting them a larger place to hide and definitely more plants. Any other suggestions would be great!

everyone here has been a huge inspiration for me and helped me and Lion here a lot so i thought I'd start out posting here :p

Tank is a Walstad with a really tiny layer of soil and has petrified wood and driftwood from local waterways(boiled of course) as well as anubius, hornwort, amazon swords and frogbit on top. Also some java moss i just got but it was really brown by the time i got it, hopefully it greens up  the one amazon sword has really rooted well and beside the one plant in the right top is a favorite hang out for Lion.

Hard to see but there is a huge cave in the left corner. Really like how this came out, only annoyance is I think lion would like more sand area to gallup through(he does that)..:D

What's size is ur lovely tank?

Ness and Samus' tank

This is my 30 gallon tank, set up for my two axies (Ness a mela and Samus a leu). I use a sponge filter, no substrate, and have two artifical moss balls. Their additional tank inmates, not sure if they're shown here or not, are two apple snails, Merlin and Radagast.

My new converted frag tank set-up. It looks a bit cluttered, but the axies love it! Have a divider to keep my GFP copper juvie from my adults, but he is super crafty and keeps finding a way over to hang out with his parents.;)

You can see him sulking in the last pic after I put him back again,.

Here's a pic of our tank. I would say it's about 70% complete. I will be adding a bigger piece of driftwood and some plants.

Here's my set up. 20 gallon long. I got rid of the sand I had originally and replaced it with slate tile (much easier to clean.) PB seems to like it!

Finally got my tank where I want it to be! Tried mostly sticking with a green, blue, and white theme. Harry Pottl seems to like it a lot too.

My tank, pre-axies! I just got them today but haven't taken a good picture of them yet.

I love that hide! Did you make it yourself? I used to have one that I made, I need to get more rocks like this. They look so cool. I miss this set up.

Yes, I did! Your old one looks great too. I love homemade rock hides. I'll definitely have to make more once they need a bigger tank.

This one is mine, not sure I'm done with it yet though.

Had a question that I just want to be sure of. My marbled newt is a little over a year old and has started to develop and I noticed that he is starting to swell a little below his abdomen. I guess I’d like to know if they are his testes or if I need to be concerned.

Hello!!! I'm new to this website and idk how to ask a proper question on the designated spot yet, so I'll ask here, I'm a first time Axolotl owner, and my dad used to run an aquarium store, anyways... Orca, my Axolotl, seems to loose parts of her toes on one limb from time to time, I can't seem to find the problem. Tempature is well, she doesn't seem to have any infections or anything, though. And I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a vet in Brazil for amphibians that are in a reasonable distance to drive without stressing Orca out too much

Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
