Please post pictures of your tank!!

Hi everyone!

Here our the two setups we have:

The first is our 40 gallon breeder that houses three of our axies --> Ickus, Oblina & Giles.

The second setup is our 29 gallon that houses our two axies from Zaria --> Dizzle & Krum.

Nice setups! I love the look of the sand in the 29 gallon. Is it just black and white mixed? I should try that...

This one's name is "Gremlin" he has an attitude!

Thanks! It's mainly black sand and I topped it with light gray sand and then mixed with my hand (during a water change so the axies were not disturbed) . It really helps to be able to see our wildtype and really shows off our golden on the dark sand.

It is relatively finished...may nudge around a few of the pieces but think I have it looking just about how I want it to now....no axies in it yet, but light on for the pic.

I really enjoyed looking at all your tanks and I'm grateful for the new ideas for mine. It's certainly worth the time it takes to read all 21 pages! :)

I'd concur wholeheartedly with you Rebecca....tremendous amount of information on this site.....I've got a 33 gallon tank (125 litres) cycling ready for the arrival of my two newbies on Friday....I hope my set up will keep them happy and that's I've done them both proud.

My 10gal CFBN setup with two newts and two apple snails! The hut provides a little more standing room than the picture looks like. I know 10gal is small, but it's the limit for the dorms at my university.

Plastic plants and ornaments (I add live plants when available) smooth medium river rocks, and no loose substrate (I use reptile carpet)

So sorry about the FBN post I didn't realize I had ended up in the axis forum "/ can a mod delete my post I'm not sure how to

NO! My tanks are ugly, boring and too small. So I'm too scared to post them :')

This is my temporary tank hopefully I'd be able to sell my other tank so I can purchase a new 75 gallon tank, I made a feeding area for my juvies since i dont have anymore feeding jars

Finally realised how to post a photo!
I added, and rearranged a lot trying to keep myself occupied and fight off impatience. I hope you can make out the cover I made for an air stone because I'm quite proud of it :p who knew drilling through pottery was so difficult.
Hope you like mine and that more people post their tanks soon.

Oops can't seem to get any of my picture the right way up

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail. Had a question that I just want to be sure of. My marbled newt is a little over a year old and has started to develop and I noticed that he is starting to swell a little below his abdomen. I guess I’d like to know if they are his testes or if I need to be concerned.
