Picture 1 is of my little wild type, Xochi's, tank. Not sure I'm fully happy though yet, suggestions welcome! Plenty more jiggling to be done! Gonna put my little golden, Milco, in there when s/he's big enough :)

Picture 2 is of my leucistics' tank, Hoshi and Jake. They seem quite happy with it like that so I'll probably leave it as it is for now :)

VERY CUTE ZOE! whoops didn't know caps lock was on haha! the orange sand is epic! is that a 2ft tank? wow it looks so small.. your axies must be huge lol!

here we go:

Hey Zoe!

What size is your tank? It looks terribly small for two axies - it might be time to upgrade! I got caught out when I bought my two, got what looked like a HUGE tank... When they were babies... then they turned into monsters and I understood the 10 gallons per adult rule!

The black and white tank is a temporary for my two baby lotls. They're leucistic and melanoid, hence the black and white theme.

The kitchen tank is currently Swarley's, and eventually Momo and Toothless's too.

Its a 2 footer, 64 litre . Unfortunately...I can't upgrade :(. They seem happy in it though.

Yeah the orange is cool :p And they do enjoy uprooting the plants so I have given up re-planting them and just put weights on them so they stay down!

And, yeah, they are pretty big, I am thinking of re-naming Tyrone, the wild type, to be called Podge, making them Pinky and Podge! He's rather podgy lol.

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail. Had a question that I just want to be sure of. My marbled newt is a little over a year old and has started to develop and I noticed that he is starting to swell a little below his abdomen. I guess I’d like to know if they are his testes or if I need to be concerned.
