Wow, I'm so glad this has been successful for you! I know there was a lot of concern at the beginning, but it seems you have it all sorted out. You know your axolotls are happy when they're breeding

...How big is 'larger'? And your original tank was a 3-foot tank - how big was it?

I like your setup. but what is this water lawn you have? Im trying to find a ground cover plant/ short grass for my axietank. thanks
