My axolotl just laid eggs

Oh how exciting! :D Actually, this came at a rather good time if you plan on raising some...as I kind of am put behind a little on being about to get some. Unfortunately we've hit a financial rut and won't be able to get them for Christmas; we don't even know if we'll still be living in the same place. Not only is it horrible timing, but it wouldn't be fair to the babies to keep them when we didn't really have the means.

So! Absolutely still want some, I just have to hold off for a little bit for things to settle down.

On a side note, congrats on the new eggs! You should have plenty of melanoid babies now :p

Tell you what, just for you Ill pull out about twenty and raise the batch so you can have the ones you want :3 Really sorry about whats going on though! If you move, you should come closer to spokane however! If nothing else I have no idea how fast the babies will sell so if there's still ones around by the time youre ready for them all you have to do is say so and Ill put some aside.

So it's been about 8 hours and the girls are slowing down slightly but still laying eggs at a pretty constant basis. I already pulled most off the plants and into my net and will have to do it again before bed. There's probably about 300 + eggs right now.

You're awesome ;__; Like, seriously that means a ton to me.

My boyfriend and I actually are planning on moving to Spokane; if we end up being forced to move out I'll actually be staying in the Valley with my grandparents until we can afford to get a place together again. I'm working on applying everywhere I can so that we can get by.

Nah, just trying to do what I would want others to do for me :3

Well that would be totally awesome! I'm right in the valley myself so you'll have a helpful friend nearby and you can come see the babies when you like. There's a lot of places hiring for seasonal jobs, if you can handle call centers West is your best bet for constant work. Theyre always hiring only thing is theyre downtown but pay is like, 10 dollars an hour I think? Try there.

I've been in crappy situations like this before :/ it's not fun, but Ill try to help out at least with the kids for whenever youre ready!

I'll check it out, thank you :3

I wasn't expecting more than that from any of the jobs around here to be honest. I'm right out of high school so I don't have much for job experience yet. Newport doesn't really have much, so on Monday I'll be heading over and staying in town for a few days sending my applications and such out. I really want to work for Dawn of the Donut, so I've been emailing them and irritating them :p

I just hope that I won't have to sell my big tank..it's pretty, but it's also the only thing of much value that I'm not using right now :/

I hope you don't have to sell it either, not to mention resell value on tanks is really not good around this area unless you sell for dirt cheap.

In other news I wont be raising any of the eggs from the batch just laid, I just lost my grandmother and will have to move here in a few months and wont have the time to handle wee ones along with all my other kids. Willowcat will once again be taking the eggs but as it is right now I wont be selling any of my first batch until spring so theres still plenty of time for anyone to ask for some.

Sorry for your loss :( It's never fun losing grandparents. Will you be staying in Spokane for your move? I could do my best to help out if so, having moved four times in the last year I know how bad it sucks.

Good luck with everything, I hope things look up.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate and probably could use some help when the time comes. Especially with moving all my kiddos.

I'll be staying here in the valley. We want to stay close to the hospital for my grandfather so it won't be a long move, just lots of ****. I'm sorry to hear you've moved so many times this year. I know it's not fun.

Everyone, I have had two or three business transactions with this sweet kid. She is kind, considerate, and trustworthy. If she takes care of her grandfather with the same heart and compassion as she does with her pets, then I know that he, or anyone else that is in her circle, are in good hands.
God Bless you, young lady,

Considering all the water and whatnot you'll probably be transporting, I've got no problems helping. Heck, if things go right for me I may be moving around the same time anyways. Hopefully, anyhow. I want to be closer to my grandparents too, because I'm afraid of how my grandpa will take it when my grandma passes. She has cancer and unfortunately we don't know how long she's got left :( The poor guy doesn't even know how to work the washing machine.

I'm hoping the next time I move will be a little more permanent. I would like to stay at our next place for at least a year, but with my dog and cats it may be a little difficult.

Anyhow, I'd be more than happy to help you out. I may only have a little honda civic, but in my experience it does pretty well for moving :p If you ever need to vent, you can text me if you'd like. I'm a good listener :3

Thank you willowcat. Things are going as well as can be considering all happening.

Shoot me a message sometime, skoll. I'll get back to you with my number :) I understand completely, I've lost a grandmother to cancer. My grandpa can kind of function on his own but he's not been sleeping alone well and it's impairing his already failing memory. He's missing years off his memory already. I have a ford explorer which is great but not enough for all my tanks lol. Anyway do send me a message, we should chat more often!

They are getting so big! :D. Front arms are well developed and visible, looks like you will have a good turnout! Congrats!

They really are. I ended up giving over the bulk of them to Margie and keeping 10. I have too many things going on to keep up with so many babies but I know theyre in good hands with her. I will continue to post for the remaining kids I have :3 Some have gained back feet!

AND THEY ARE THE CUTEST FEETS EVER. I literally just got home after visiting. I wish you could see them in person Seth, they are really just too adorable for the pictures to do them justice.

Also, thanks for the fun, it was great to get to meet you :3 Hope you had a happy birthday, and thank you for finding me after I got lost in freaking evilly laid out Spokane  Zach also had a good time; we don't get to get out much so I'm glad he was able to come along. Anywho! I will possibly see you tomorrow, but now I must pass out. Night :3

=w= Margie said the same thing practically lol. Good to know I'm raising cute babies, hard to miss with these guys though, they steal the show!

It was awesome meeting you guys too, glad you got home safely! Hit me up in the morning, I think I have the day free tomorrow other than buying some bulbs for the 55. Sleep well!

!?!?!!!?!!?!? Those are the same ones!?!?!?! But they are so big! how can that be possible?!!? Man they developed fast! Congrats on healthy axis!!!

Clean water, lots of food and of course daily doses of loving go a long way lol. I kept 4 of the biggest and 6 of the smaller kids to sort for myself, its been a lot of fun getting them to this point.
