Question: Cycling my tank

Thanks! I'm a little worried however. The water from my tap just tested at .25 ppm. what do I do?

I've always had this problem with my tap - I just use seachem prime (which detoxifies ammonia) as a water conditioner when I'm keeping things in 100% daily change tubs. .25 isn't a huge, huge issue. It's not very much.

Alright. Thanks for the reassurance! As you know one gets worried when they might see things like this the first time with new babies haha. Would you recommend grabbing that over the aquasafe plus?

Prime is considered the most heavy-duty water conditioner in the hobby. But if Aquasafe plus says it detoxifies ammonia I don't see the difference. I've never used that particular brand so I'm not sure.

I really wouldn't worry about it :>

Thanks again Kaini. I hope these dang nitrites go down soon.
