What do caudata owners do for a living?

I'm 28, I am a single parent with a 5 year old boy (who doesn't really have much interest in my animals!)

I work for the government........in HR and payroll....

I love to raise babies, Axolotls at the min. Got about 12 juvies and 90 odd freshly hatched larvae <3
I have newts and a chinchilla and at some point should be getting some pygmy chameleons :D

I am 23 and I screen print t-shirts, etc for a living.
I only have 1 juvi axolotl wild type at the moment but already looking to get a gold albino also haha.
 
I am 18, qualified Veterinary Nurse since I was 15 but no longer work as one. I work at an amazing petshop during the day and spend the rest of my time either drunk, with my boyfriend or out riding my beautiful horse! I live out of home so I have plenty of time and minimal money haha. I am doing nursing and midwifery next year and am obsessed with babies <3
 
I am 45 and retired from the workforce early after having worked as a music teacher and then as a paralegal in top tier law firms, I now spend my days with Axle to keep me company.
 
I'm 19 and currently have two part time jobs, one being at SPAR (English Convenience Shop) and the other at Burton Menswear.

I am the semi-quasi-pseudo-faux-magical half-elf/half-jury-is-still-out that repairs those little dings in your windshield ("windscreen" for you people of the British gland). I am the quintessential 'armchair herper' after moving out of the pet field in '95 where I was the Suffolk County area manager for a New York pet firm. Spent many years in the landscaping/plant nursery trade when I moved to Pennsylvania. So I have had my fun with flora AND fauna and am very happy to still be able to work outside 12 months out of the year! I am more happy to see critters in the wild than in my home, but I hope to dive back in with some basic caudates to care for in the extremely near future. I think I'm more a man born in the wrong time than a geek, per se'... but, I will confess, "geek" IS sexy! LOL! :lol:
 
Some very interesting responses, my mother is a nurse and she thinks my hobby is "icky".

I'm 25, graduated from The University of Kansas with a B. A. In Architecture and will be headed back for my masters in acoustics this fall.

I suppose I'm a geek, only not in the sense that some are, its more musically geeky than anything.
 
34 y.o. male hominid. Currently doing freelance web design, but most recently a network technician in Alaska, and before that a manager/fraud investigator at an insurance company. Outside of the zoo here, my hobbies include robotics, biology, and physics. Parkbench Anthropologist.

42 yo, work for Dept of Defense and resell paperbacks online after a life of many jobs: raised on a farm in a swamp /w horses, cows, chickens, pigs, ducks, geese & goats, worked at a worm farm, worked at a surf shack, worked as a short order cook in a Mexican restaurant, construction, carpet cleaner, US Army medic, paramedic, dentist office, owned a computer store, copier/fax repair, and full time Air Force Reservist. I'm married with 4 children <3 girls and 1 boy>, major geek-gamer on PC/Xbox 360/Playstation 2 <no love for Wii or PS3>, love horror/scifi/fantasy books/movies/tv shows, RPG player and currently have 8 axolotls and 1 dog <boxer>.
 
i am almost 45, am a Director of a software company in the UK, have 4 children, coach a youth football team (that's football not American Rugby with padding! :rolleyes:). grow all my own vegetables, build computers for a hobby, have a 380L tank of temperate fish, newly acquired 2 Axi's, currently in the middle of building an extension (for new baby) and new kitchen (wife insisted!), have a second hobby of cooking and currently wondering why i have no time to do anything! Kids are 9 months, 6, 10 and 13.

Wife is 36 and made of pure gold - but don't you dare tell her!

I am 23 years old. I was born in Spain, but moved to the UK a couple of years ago. I'm a software developer and hardware geek. I work part time and volunteer for a charity a couple of days per week. I also self-teach myself videogames development in my free time.

I love to read, paint and play guitar, look after my plants and obviously play videogames (MMORPGs mainly).


PS.: I am also looking for a nice job <winks at PAWS> :)))))
