I've had this tat for almost a year now. The picture was taken a few days after I got it done. It's of a female Gastrophryne carolinensis, the first species of frog I ever tracked down by call and caught in amplexus. It's on my right shoulder.

Okay, so...I don't have one...but some of my friends (we all work at a dairy together) have gotten hoofprints walking down the bridge of their foot...and they look sweet. I dont want to go with the crowd, so I designed this one for myself with prints going in the same direction of the different kinds of pets I've had as well as one thrown in there for the Jersey cows I milk all the time. IF I did get this done, I think it would be smaller and more spaced out...we shall see

And where the "next?" at the end is would go whatever I own or work with in the future...hopefully a whale or dolphin tail if all goes according to plan...I would love to do veterinary research with marine mammals.

There are some really sweet tatts on here I have two (one on each arm), that I will get posted as soon as i find/ or take new pics of them.

getting inked is like getting a photo that will last forever, i've wanted s portrait of one of my first pets but need to find an amazing artist to do it. Looks like I'll go to LA and have KAT VON D do it shes awesome at portraits.

Otters, ferrets, and salamanders (as well as brontosauruses) have similar body shape if you draw them right. I have to find an artist who can draw me a shape that you can't tell if it's an otter, ferret, or salamander. Then I could get a tattoo of that!

I have taken some bad really terrible pictures of mine in the mirror. they wrap all the way around my arm and go across my back and chest... I obviously have a thing for invertebrates. I need to get some better pics taken.

I havn't got one yet but I will be getting ti when we're going down to NSW this year or next year when I move down there for good. Lower back about 5 inches long without the heart above it. I'm pretty excited!!!!

Just spotted this thread, okay, I'll play!

I have 2, the dragon (maybe, dragonlady makes more sense now?) is on my upper right chest and the tiger/butterfly is on the back of my right shoulder. Both are old now and in need of touching up. Would like another, but hubby says no way.

I love all these other tats out here, this was a neat idea!

i'm just gonna say this, I LOVE THAT TAT OF ALICE!!! (chris_dishmon).

also, this is my starfish tattoo, trying to find good examples was a bad experience (google, no filter, "starfish tattoo", man a$$), i got it done when i was visiting my mom this christmas (wait...last christmas? i dunno, it was definately the christmas that happened not too long ago).

i loves it.

P.S. this pic was literally after it was done, it still look sthe same, a little color got healed out but it's fine.

Hello, only just found this thread - hope you all don't mind me posting a picture of my tat....

This was drawn from a photograph I took of Helga my hubby's Bald Eagle. She is on my back over my right shoulder. I am waiting for my Rags to come into adult plumage before I try and get that perfect shot of her, she is going to go on my left. Rags is a Bateleur (African Snake Eagle). I am also trying to design a tat which is a Bird of Prey's foot to incorporate my son's name which is Talen, and then also design a scroll which shows a map which has my daughter's name through the middle of it - her name is Yaska, and finally (for now!!) I am also having a tat done of my first bird which was a Kestrel, his name was Gollum and he was tragically killed last year (RIP my little man xxx)

I'm quite new to keeping Amphibians - but loving it! So I'd never really thought of getting a tat done of one of those. I do however really really like the Red Eyed Tree Frog tat (love the mealworm idea!!!) And also love the Newt on the ankle.

I remember getting ready to have my first tat done - a friend of mine told me how addictive it is - I thought to myself - yeah right!!! How right was she..... VERY!!!! It's like childbirth too - OMG, did I just write that?! We'll it's true for me, so seeing as this thread is an 'off topic' I won't bother deleting it!!
