I love the last picture the most, you pictures really are amazing. I still feel sad for the Siamese Twins, I hope they are OK and happy.

:( sorry to hear - I was hoping it would survive - but Mother Nature has a way of making sure only the strong survive... Even with the very best of care that little ones destiny was predetermined.. Sad :(

A bad thing---someone told me that I could feed the babies with blackworms which were cut into small small pieces, and I did that.
I shoudn't belive them but it's too late.
Then some of babies were sick-- more than 100 babies dead in 3 days!!!That's too bad! Most of dead babies are the second ones.
Now there's still some sick babies,I would do my best to stop the death.
I think I have only about 1700 babies now.

Some of them are 3.6CM,they could eat bloodworms.

Blackworms cut into small pieces are used by many breeders to feed their baby axolotls before they are big enough to eat whole bloodworm. I think their may have been a problem with the blackworms you brought. Your babies are growing so well and you have some interesting colours. Your babies have the genetics for large gills just like your parents have, very nice.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
