The custom made stand will be great. Make sure you post pictures of it when it is finished. I have a 5ft tank(which has my 2 adult axies in it, I think it holds around 400lt), 2 X 3ft tanks(1 has goldfish and the other has the baby axies in it) and 1X1 1/2 ft (tanks that has the cherry shrimp it in) allI in my lounge room. I have a chiller for the 5fter and one for the axie 3fter for summer. I also have 5 kids that try and help with feeding and water changes.........

awww lol i have 2 kids. Ryans 4 and Maddison turns 2 next week xD they try to help but they are really bad at it! lmfao! ryans autistic and he loves the axolotls thats why we got our very first one, cos when he makes a connection with something its hard to say no to him lol, and then after that he keep asking for more fishies as he calls them :D well its safe to say we have alot now!! he thinks they are all his, and i tell people i got so many for him but really everyone know im just in love with the little critters!! it just helps that i have a almost believable reason to have so many!! hahahahahaha :D

Yes, blame it on the son... HAHA! lmfao! almost believable suzi... I have an experience and have dealt with youngish oldish children with autism! One thing that really helps these kids is my animals, and they love to pet them and stuff!

Wait until the eggs start hatching and every morning there are a few more swimming around he will love it. Mine did anyway and I only hatched 20 not 200. My kids love watching the crazy things they do

i bet! and i totally cant wait!! it will only be a few days and the 32 i got from NooNoo Kz will hatch, the last 3 days they have grow heaps all of a sudden they just came to life, even twitching now! so it wont be long, i can even see there eyes and fully see there gills xD i counted the alive growing ones and there are 32 so now i have a actual number to go by haha

I sure am! not to mention 2 of the new golden albino keep trying to breed! i would separate them, but i think its to late, last night i keep taking spermatophore's out of the tank then a few hours later there would be more and then i caught the female sitting over one!! so im pretty sure.. its already to late to stop them lol if i could of made a divider i would of but it was to late to go to any shops or anything =/ looks like i should expect even more babys... =S

I have a Maddison as well she is turning 7..........Time for someone to move out me thinks:D

I love it as well. we call her maddy for short. Is your maddy a MIss know-it-all..... mine is. I had a couple people come over to buy a couple of my axie babies and she told them all about there care and what I do everyday. I never thought she noticed so I was very surprised......

Good luck with all the eggs LOL! just look at it as the more eggs you get the more chance more of them are going to survive! XD we will probably have more eggs soon and some of our eggs are going to hatch soon! Nick got a tank for his birthday and he put a heater in it and a few eggs and they are the closest to hatching but the rest are not far off either XD nick has been sick lately so I have been looking after all like 100 animals but it's fun

Hi Suzie,

Wonderful news on your new babies! My 5 eggs have all successfully hatched and I decided to raise them. However on the day they hatched my other female laid about 200 eggs, so I am well and truly back to raising little babies. My first batch of babies are 5 weeks old with full front legs, back leg buds and eating non cut up live black worm.

You are going to have a world of fun raising these babies and I trust we will be kept informed with lots of photo updates :happy:
 
OMG! Suzie like all of the the eggsy people axolotl in the eggs in cold water are starting to twitch so yours must be going to hatch soon! XD just had to tell you was super excited! :smile:

yea ours have been twitching for a few days now they look fully developed so now its just a waiting game xD

my hubby wants the other 2 new golden albinos to have more baby's for some reason he loves the idea more than i do! hahaha also an update, with the one my copper female laid only about 75-100 are developing, the rest are infertile i think this may be her first lot of egg's. so im hoping that the ones that have developed are going to survive, they all have gill buds and u can fully see there long tails that are are getting longer and skinnier every day xD so only about a week until they hatch :D

@meerkat thats great! my 3 little golden babys are 4cm and have front legs and half of there back legs, the biggest of the 3 i think is about 4.5cm and he has almost growing his toes on his back legs! :D:wacko::D:wacko::D
 
@ Leanne our little Madi is 2 on Thursday and yes she is a very smart little girl, so no doubt she will be the same when she's bigger! :D

Tonight's hatching night Suzi!! Day 17!! We have little twitches, clear gills and even some colour, were just about ready to come out!! we can even see heart and liver and eyes!! So exciting!
