Sorry I can't tell, if you get some more pictures with their cloaca showing better (on both animals) I might be able to help.
 
Nice axies. Cant help eighter. I fond it quite hard to get pics of my axy eating and gulping down food but those pics of them feeding are quite good
 
I think they may both be females due to the length of them. They have a real big tail fin and as i can see males are thinner. Thats my opinion

i like the set up of your tank as well! by the way, do you know how old they are when you first get them from Niles Biological?
