4. correct

14, 43, no, lincolni was a good guess, but that species hasn't got the light flecks on the flanks.

I was looking at another reputable website and thought..."Hey!I recognise that eye"... sure enough when I compared them they were very similar, and then on the same page I noticed the actual picture you’d used… so it was luck more than anything. But whilst I’m on a roll;

22 – D. conanti
14 – P. idahoensis

Mark, two more hits, well done!

i wasn't sure whether anyone would get the idahoensis, it's pretty obscure! also happens to be my favourite plethodon.

so that just leaves:
10, 11, 16, 17, 20, 21, 27, 31, 32, 35, 37, 39, 43, 47, 49

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
