I wasn´t going to do it, Niels, but since the picture happened to be taken in Amsterdam i thought it was just too good to pass. Nosepicking in the Netherlands, people, the new fad. All the nerds are doing it.


PS: Jesus, i didn´t remember how chunky i was at the time xDD

Actually we got kind of lost looking for something else, we saw pretty lights and a giant chess board on the street and we were attracted like moths. Couldn´t care less about the casino itself, though xD Not my thing.
I wouldn´t say i have no shame....quite the opposite actually. I even get embarrased by proxy :p But you know, when you are on a trip abroad with your mates, you don´t really care much anymore...
The nose-picking was the result of a wager with a female friend (she can be seen in a previous photo on this thread). I lost and there are 20+ pictures of me picking my nose from that trip. My parents were so proud when they saw the pictures....

I can´t wait to go back to Amsterdam, by the way, what a beautiful city!

Amsterdam is great indeed, but it doesn't give you an impression of The Netherlands of course. When you're planning a trip to the Netherlands, let me know if you're interested in some Dutch herping!

I don't find it strange if you've got pictures of yourself picking your nose, because it's hard to find a picture of me without me showing my bare bottom....

I´d love to go back to the Netherlands some day and i have a friend who´s always up for it, so maybe someday when i stop being poor, i´ll get to do some dutch herping. It would be brilliant!

You know, my mother would love to see that original xD I think she worries my brother and i may not be able to endure the winters if we don´t accumulate enough reserves. Whenever we go home for a few days, it´s like the salmon run...more calories than you could possibly digest.
I did mean that i had gained a few kilos at the time, but perhaps chunky wasn´t the right word :D

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
