Cynops Orientalis Price list (and something else)

Well...umm I really didn't wanna say BUT..I've read here(in the caudata culture page) that you can keep cloud minnows and ghost shrimp in the tank with newts...but I don't plan to put them them there with the newts in the beggining so I don't want it to get crowded I'm gonna make it a planted tank so I want space for the plants to grow...

Yes white clouds, are good. I don't know much about the shrimp though, because I have never had one. Also yes plants need room, but I think that you could have at least, 1 shrimp, 15 white clouds, and 3-5 firebellies, and as many plants that can fit..The reason I recomend so many C.o, is because then you have a better chance of getting a breeding pair..

Thanks for your concern John but...I'm not really interested in breeding them...at least not yet,I just want a pair because I don't want too much of a cleaning hassle so the less number of newts the less poop right? but I don't wanna keep just one because one is too little for me so.. and I want room to expand for xample let's say I want to put a ram's horn snail in my tank then I won't have any more space or if I wanna add another CO...you get it right?

...let's see I'll post an updaded version of the PL..

Alright, but I recomend that you only keep the newts with white clouds, and maybe shrimp(not sure though). I think that you could esyly pull that of in a 10 gallon.. But it is up to you.

Depending on the water level I would not suggest that 15 whiteclouds would be good to room with the newts. I would guess that at 2/3 full the water level would be around 7 gallons or less and that ammount of water with fish, shrimp and newts is going to create a large level of nitrate and nitrite, as well as ammonia. The best thing is to just have the newts and a few small snails.

Well isn't the what the plants are for? And I would only put enough for them to be able to school so 5 or 6...
