To help encourage them to swim I raised their temps to 72F during the day and 68F at night. Water temp stays stable at70F. I have also reduced misting of the land portions to twice a week instead of daily as they got in their full terrestrial enclosures. Using a modified combination screen lid/ acrylic sheet lid and a small 115V aquarium fan from Allied Electric I have been able to lower the ambient humidity in the enclosure to between 40 and 55% stable.
Aquatic foods are anything that moves. Currently Daphnia and Adult Brine Shrimp, and the occasional live chopped worm bits that are still wiggling. They also readily take Drosophila hydei from the surface of the water.
