Whoop! They are here!

I don't choose to live in a small house, so I don't see why they should be kept in a small tank. Granted a four foot tank isn't so small, but I've seen how big the parents are! I wouldn't want them to be cramped and wouldn't even dream of putting six in there. It is only 4x1 foot, and I think they would be happier with double that or maybe a couple of feet more on top. I cannot spend all day every day making sure that they are getting along, and realise accidents happen and sometimes they need to be separated, but I hope that if I give them lots of room to have a happy life then perhaps they can be minimised. As it is set up at the moment, there are lots of hides, but no space to add any more and as they get bigger perhaps a couple will have to come out.
Sorry to have a rant, but I feel very strongly about keeping animals in the best way possible. I am not implying that you don't in any shape or form either

No offence taken. I have 3 in my 3ft and was very lucky to get three beauties who never snap or fight, and sit on top of one another cuddling all day lol. :)

If I had the space I would do the same as you, I was just letting you know that 4 could be perfectly happy in a 4ft, in case you didn't have the space, so that you wouldn't feel bad about cramping them (though I don't think it's that cramped). Enjoy your new set-up in the future! :D

Where did you get your sand? It's beautiful.

I LOVE the name Falkor. Love it!
I was going to name my leucistic that, but instead I went with Bowie :)

Bowie's a cool name  Thank you, thought it would suit quite well  They are mostly names from films that I love, should I be admitting I still love never ending story at 30?
