Allready got H.orientalis, P.waltl and T.dobrogicus eggs and larvae. A lot of the T.dobrogicus eggs are given to other enthusiasts. Tomorrow the T.marmoratus will be "thrown" into their aquarium, just like the N.viridescens. Guessing the T.carnifex are still too young (CB2011), but then again, so are the T.dobrogicus.

End of march the diaboli's will be kept outside in an aqua/terrarium, but I'm not expecting too much of it, because this will be my first breeding attempt. Would be totally wicked of course if they would surprise me with some offspring.

Hope our frogs and toads will surprise us as well, especially the G.riobambae! Hope that everyone will have a lot of eggs this year!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
