Hello everyone, Im planing to get a tiger salamander and Im wondering wich feeder invert is best for this species, dubia roaches? earthworms? crickets?

All of the invertebrates you mentioned are good feeders. It's always better to feed a variety.
If you want your insects to have beta carotene, feed them carrots, squash, and other vegetables that contain it.

I've been feeding mine dusted gutloaded crickets almost exclusively for about a decade. If I had more time I would hand feed them nightcrawlers.

I feel mine the same some times mealworms but I. Not to judge unless you feed it raw pork slices

different timezone, I posted in the mid-morning ~8:30.
Makes a scene I just wanna make sure a fellow amphibian keeper is adequately as delighted and goofy as a tiger salamanders face.

Tiger salamanders have a healthy appetite. But they should not be overfed, as they will become obese. The larva eat aquatic invertebrates, such as brine shrimp, insects, small fish, and worms. Adults eat a selection of feeder insects, such as crickets, earthworms, and wax worms.

Is it ok to feed my Tiger salamander I will just read it? Fluckers freeze-dried crickets.

The issue I've had with feeding tiger sals is that mine completely refused anything that wasn't alive. Yours might be different, but in my experience live is always a better option.

Same, even super worms who don't move lose his interest.

Mine are like little dump trucks. They eat everything. One time we left the mealworms out for too long we were out of crickets the mealworms became beetles. They ate

Hello!!! I'm new to this website and idk how to ask a proper question on the designated spot yet, so I'll ask here, I'm a first time Axolotl owner, and my dad used to run an aquarium store, anyways... Orca, my Axolotl, seems to loose parts of her toes on one limb from time to time, I can't seem to find the problem. Tempature is well, she doesn't seem to have any infections or anything, though. And I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a vet in Brazil for amphibians that are in a reasonable distance to drive without stressing Orca out too much

Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
