Question: Where to Find Axolotl

Hi, I live in Grand Rapids, MI, and I have been searching around for a young leucistic axolotl... I've checked VI Pets and the Blue Fish Aquarium, and they don't have them. I was hoping to ask for one for my birthday (Two weeks from now), but I'm not sure I'll be able to find one. Does anyone either know a place that presently has axolotls or have one matching those parameters they'd be willing to sell?

Try the for sale section of this forum - there are plenty of breeders willing to ship

However you should make sure you have everything set up for the animal first - a cycled tank (cycling takes more than 3 weeks!) at the correct temperature, etc.

If you wanted to ask for something for your birthday, you could ask for everything you'll need for the lotl - tank, filter, fan/chiller etc. Whatever you don't already have (Personally I'd love to get aquarium stuff for my birthday, haha!)
