I'd like some help in confirming what species these larvae are. I know Eurycea longicauda, E. cirrigera, and Desmognathus fuscus are present where they were found, and a lot of the previous larvae I found there were Eurycea cirrigera. I don't know that I can distinguish longicauda from cirrigera though and would appreciate any tips on how to tell what I find here. Thanks.

they look like desmognathus larvae to me. I may be wrong, but I think they eurycea larvae would be much longer, less stocky

Based on previous photos I'd think cirrigera...also because they are the most common

Thanks. I was thinking the 2nd one might be a desmog since I've been told they have rounder faces as larvae, but I really don't know. Assuming they are all Eurycea though, how could I tell cirrigera from longicauda?
