Haaa excellent! I was talking about that with my boyfriend yesterday. It all started when I fell in love with a pink tiny corn snake at the garden centre. I'm going to have a tank and a dog in every room. Donations welcome!:hat:
Update, I've bought a 3ft glass tank for £50 from the back area of an aquatic shop but I've just got it home and realised - NO LID. So if anyone knows where I can get a lid for a 3ft long tank that's 12" wide and 12" tall that would be ever so helpful. Or else I'll have to take the tank back and start again. Gumtree and Ebay weren't very fruitful in my area. Every single one comes with a huge whopping cabinet : (
Also, axies seem to be playing nice.
Is there an article or a walk-through anywhere about how to make one? I ideally wanted one that could hold the weight of my aquarium fan and also, I wanted to use my aquarium light still. I don't have it on very often but photography will be almost impossible without one

Hmm I had a look but as I said, I would like one that's more shaded for them, can hold a light, and has a small flap for me to balance my fan on. I'm not the handiest chump when it comes to woodwork and that kind of DIY.
The only other thing I can think of is to take a trip to B&Q and ask their advice. Most of the larger stores will cut stuff to size for you so all you would need to do is nail/screw the bit together. I should imagine that 4 bits of baton nailed together in a rectangle with some MDF or planking tacked on one end to hold you fan and netting or mesh or something on the otherside would be Ok. I'm sorry I can't be more help, I have a carpenter Grandfather onto whom I foist all my DIY
