i was looking for a picture of her when she was younger, she got really green/light and now has darkened a lot. Frank looks more yellow then texas..
I found this picture from 1-6months that I had her.
frank is okay, frank got bullied by my goldens and lost a limb but he is recovering fast! I separated them and now that the goldens are gone, frank gets the 10gallon all to himself
He is still really small, i have another axie from a different batch almost the same size as him and half his age. Unfortunately I dont think he is going to get very big, max out maybe at 6" if we are lucky. But there is nothing wrong with a small axolotl! Just means his 15gallon tank will give him plenty of space whenever my roomate actually gets it set up -.-
Sorry for the terrible picture I will try to get a better one! It shows his limb loss, but it was almost completely gone so has grown a lot!
I do have another wild type baby that is approx 3weeks old so wont be ready until early summer for shipping, so I will need to do some research on shipping in the summer first!
Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
