Tiger salamander question again

Sam, that is disgusting! I thought they made the Fear Factor contestants chew them so it would take longer and make them more nauseated...

. But all the mealworms I find locally are too big for my critters anyway, so I'm not planning on making them part of their diet anytime soon.

Haha, reall, i heard the host say it myself! It would be more torturous to have the grub attempting to crawl up your oesophogus than to taste grub juice in ur mouth!

Rob, I just know my newts don't like them. They're much chewier than other food items, and I think it's easier to just go with something else.

*LOL*
Why is everybody so scared of you Rob, it's excuses here and excuses there

Maybe you should change your photo to a smiling one eh?

I'm not scared of Rob! But maybe that's because I exchanged a lot of messages with him before I saw his picture......

. Just a very serious picture, Rob; but then you're serious about caudates, so why not?

Hahahaha, yeah Rob, ur pic does look a bit intimidating. Hahaha. Yep, i also think the mealworm preference thingy depends on individual animals, much like humans with sushi.

LOL...I never thought of my photo as a scary one...but I guess my facial expression and my tattoo showing could give people that impression. I'll aim for a nicer one sometime this fall.

That's too funny though....I'm really a friendly guy, honestly!

Haha, i bet u r. Well, i'll get use to ur pic once i talk to u more often!

There you go....now how can anyone find me scary with that pic as my avatar?

I have a Tiger Salamander that has come out of hibernation and refuses to eat. He appears to be healthy. Would I use an appetite stimulator or do they take awhile to eat after hibernating all winter?

Thanks,
Kris
