Tank setup so far

This is my tank set-up now and i think it looks cool but i don't know if it would be acceptable in an axy's tank.

The plants are plastic and i have a cookie monster,snow globe,boot shot glass(clean), and a plastic star thing in the center. I also have jewels and shells in the corner and other jewels all over. I was kind-of going for a buried treasure theme but i don't know if axies would like that. Any comments or tips would be appreciated. THANKS!

i also finally saw a raise in pH to .25 so i can finally say that the cycling has begun!

Hey Jordon, take out the cookie monster snow globe. I believe their is a chemical or possibly alcohol inside the snow globe. It could leak. Other than that, your tank looks very nice

The rainbow cave looks very pretty, it contrasts with the tank very nicely

I currently have something in my tank and was wondering if it is safe or not. It is a rubber skeleton, and here is the photo.

I wouldn't put anything in your tank that isn't meant to go into a fish tank. I would stick with aquarium decorations. You never know when something might have a chemical in it, a lot of plastics and rubbers have chemicals in them.

Also, try to get aquarium decorations that won’t have any sharp edges. Axolotls can be obnoxious sometimes and dart around their tanks wildly.
