A basin about 30m in diameter and 1m deep. It`s heavily planted and what is very important it`s without ******** fish. Besides dobrogicus it also affords refuge to vulgaris, Bombina bombina, Pelobates fuscus, Hyla arborea, Rana dalmatina and "green Rana" complex.

Hi Juraj
That male vulgaris has a really high crest! Are they all like that over there?

I've seen vulgaris here in Holland too with such a large crest

Hi Juraj,
is this pond situated in the Danube River floodplain?

Ralf

Hi Ralf,
yes it is. There are many like this but there is nothing live in them except voracious carps.

Hi Juraj, great photos! Are these pairs your animals? Really nice. May I use your photos on Caudata Culture?

Hi Jenn,
feel free to use them. These animals are not mine I just took a photo in the place and let them keep on mating.
