T. cristatus morphs

It`s not the first time I find in the spring tiny, about 5cm aquatic cristatus morps. Does anybody else have this experience ?

It's good to know that the morphs sometimes naturally stay in the water.
 
Crested newts morphs often stay in the water after metamorphosis. In Springtime you can find adults, subadults and juveniles along side each other. It is not uncommon to my experience.
 
I thought that morphs are terrestrial. Thanks for the info Serge.
