I am curious how fast you other Pachy keepers keep the flow rate in your tanks, especially you few who have had egg laying this past season. I read in Erik's thread that he just had a sponge filter, but what did Ian use? I myself have a Deutto 100, and its turned a little more than halfway to full strength. Oh, and my tank is 30" long - I don't know the exact gallons because I bought it at a thrift store but I think its a 29g. Its quite a current in there, but my newt is doing well in that she eats and is active (the same one that escaped and I thought was going to die a few weeks ago). I also read in another thread thread that Erik noted in the wild that Pachy's inhabited some very fast flowing streams, but seemed to spend time out of the current where water was more still.
Thanks for any input,
Heather
