SAND HELP!.. im setting up my new tank with sand, but the water go horrible!! help

UPDATE..
Got sand from a pet shop, and its pretty ****!
make the water go unclear, i washed it for ages, and it just didn't get any better. so... for now until i can find a shop that has the right stuff, it will have to do. at least its safe! yay
 
i live in kyneton, its like an hour from Melbourne... i don't really want you to come that far for me, i should be able to find somewhere with the right stuff... eventually lol

Nah, I just like driving in my new car :p I do have the sand ready to go, but in the end its all for the axolotls :happy:
 
my sands settled now, it just took over night for the muskiness to go away, but thanks so so so much for the offer!! it means alot to know there still is genuinely nice people left in the world! iv got the breeding tank set up to with the same sand i got yesterday, its musky today but by 2moro i bet it will settle. im finally all set up and everything ok again. no over crowding { had to have 4 axies in the one 2ft tank for 2 days } the sands perfect and they are all eating. pretty sure every things perfect and ready for 2moro.. {getting my 3 baby's!!} excitement is building up i just cant wait!
 
The babies are excited too! I was going to post a pic for you but my STUPID DUMB camera is having a brain anurism and WILL NOT focus!!!!! Sorry you'll just have to wait till tomorrow. Oh and to top things off my $500 new phone BROKE so I can't use its epic camera either.. :'(

This was my blog for today :)

I got 3 golden albino baby's! so tiny, only about 2 and a half cm! smaller than i thought they would be, and they are gorgeous!
I have set them up in a nice quiet room {spare bathroom} witch is now more like my aquarium room! lmao

I have set up a 120 litre storage container as a breeding tank, with my 2 axies, one from Ballarat, and one from Melbourne, to make sure of no inbreeding. {also in the bathroom}

The baby's are on a black folded shirt to keep the bright bench from bothering them. a small air stone that's been clamped so as the bubbles make the smallest amount of water movement, and a few bits of plant as well.

And also in the lounge we have 2 axies in one tank, and 2 turtles in another.

So in other words im extreamly happy today! and i dont think the day could get any better!! a huge thankyou to Aimzs and W4NTED for all the help in getting these beautiful baby's!

lol my son Ryan loves the croc haha im not sure if you could hear the vid, but he was saying to me to get a pic of it too lol and yea i have a pretty big house and i have 2 spare bedrooms as well so if i run out of room in my bathroom... that's where even more tanks can go lmao that's the up side of living in the middle of no where the houses are nice sizes xD
