Profanities

Jennifer, Yes I try to. If they react I explain my position which I proudly stand for. I dont curse a lot in general though.
 
All I ask is for a reasonable example as to where the forum would benefit from profanities and consistently, none have been given.

A profanity filter does not make a pre-emptive hit, it prohibits any hitting at all.

I'm going to lock this topic and end it because clearly it's getting nowhere and no longer contributing to the forums. John has made a decision in light of Dick Bartlett's exception.

I found the inability to use my nickname amusing rather than irritating. rdb is good enough for me.

    Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
