What I read that you could do, get a jar add some substrate and the plant and then add that under the sand. Not sure if it’ll work. Another thing is to tie the plants to rocks or glueing the roots to logs. Or just get floating plants to float such as Elodea, duckweed, Brazilian waterweed, or pennywort.Yeah I think I have the same sand and nothing lasts in it sadly.
