Hey guys! Just thought I'd update with some pictures!

the larger of the two LOVES to sit in the airstone's bubbles..LOL..it cracks me up every time..I think he does it to help when shedding.

this is how they're tank looks now, they're old tank had too many "critters" living in it, they were driving me nuts. Now they have their 7-8 inches of water with a large fake pothos floating and suctioned to the back wall. They climb all over it and there's a floating lily w/ pad and a little log decoration at the bottom that they go inside. I also put in new rock, that is larger and more "river rock" looking rather than brown creek-like rock. ..whoops..sorry..i guess this should be in a different section...I'll stop now

anyway they're both doing very well (except the mass etc..check the Help section). Thanks for everything!!!!!!

What are their names Lindsay? (I like knowing newts' names, nobody ever posts them but I consider them pets, not hobbies, and I like knowing their names!)

Really happy looking newts, makes me sad I am not going to see any tarichas for a while.. oh well. Jen's right, the bubbles and the newt looks silly indeed.

I've yet to name them..they had names but they didn't stick..so they're kindof "big newt" and "little newt"..i'm trying to figure out names for them

I started calling one of my frogs "little guy" until I could think of a name. Now he's not the smallest but the "name" stuck.
