Have you hibernated them, and if so; for how long and at what temperature?

They live in a terrarium in a room with an open window in summer and autumn. The temperature never falls below 10°C. I have two other females in the terrarium at the moment. These two haven't shown any interest in going aquatic so far - I will be trying again in a few weeks.

Lovely pictures! I've never realised that male T. marmoratus had such long toes, even his front ones are huge!

Just spotted one of the larvae left in the tank doing something weird so went to look, then took a photo. This one is quite big compared to the others. And here's why:

Hi Fenrhir, I thought I would keep them aquatic all year round when I first got them but I have a feeling that it's not so good for this species. They live in a terrarium in summer and autumn and then go into an aquarium for winter and spring. I think it might be exhausting for them to be in water all year round - I can really see the difference in lifestyle. When they are on land they are very slow and just take it easy, whereas in water they are very active and the males court the females all the time.
I have two other females which are still terrestrial now. I am hoping that they will go in when I try putting them into the aquarium again. They have tiny girl crests now which I'm hoping means they will want to breed soon. The first female has stopped laying eggs.

Almost all are out of water now. One of the last few larvae climbed out of the bowl while I was taking pictures of it and seemed very interested in the camera lens.
