Ah, awesome, another Edmontonian
No, I'm not sure where they bought him...he was their daughters, but then she went to college and the parents didn't want to take care of him. They didn't know much about him, aside from his name (James P. Michaelangelo Newt) Haha.
I've never looked for newts in petstores before...I was never interested in them, prior to getting mine, and I rarely ever go to any other petstores aside from Petcetera. All of my animals are animals that have been given to us because they could no longer be cared for, or rescued (sometimes stolen
) from neglectful situations. So, since I get so many animals that way, Ive never had to buy an animal
How much is PJ's selling their P hongkongensis's for? Were they in good condition? I've had bad experiences with PJ's in the past. Paradise is nice...I buy pinkies from there sometimes, and the staff seems more knowledgeable then most petstores.
Pamela: aah, to late, I've already come and gone from the petstore (hm, guess I lied, I do buy fish sometimes.) and bought 4 zebra danios, which are already floating in the tank. I won't add them though, I was waiting for an answer on the quarantine question.
And yes, I know about the goldfish
I plan to get a 30 gallon for them soon, but right now the oranda is only two inches.
