Kaysie, I can tell you the age of your axolotls. I obtained the eggs from a local colony in April 2004 and they hatched in that month. They were spoiled with lots of live food!

Thanks for posting the latest picture, it's nice to see them doing so well.

Falkor, in his tupperware

I'm in the middle of changing his tank around, so he gets to live in the tupperware fro now... he's not very happy- just put him in and you can see how pink he is

But such a cutie!

how old is falkor leah? he doesn't seem to have any of those leucistic freckles, but then mine didn't develop them til he was a bit older.

I'm not sure how old *he* is- I've only had him about a month. You can't see in the pictures, but his toes are already getting black tips, and he's only 5 inches long!

I'll try and take a better picture later... he has really faint freckles that I didn't notice when I got him, almost like a dusting over his whole head rather than really distinct spots.

Here's a better picture of his black toes, but I couldn't get a clear shot of his head. I think there are freckles starting, but they're sooooo faint it's hard to tell! I hope he does end up with a freckly face though, it's so cute!
