I know someone mentioned this above, but to reiterate: mealworms have an exoskeleton of chitin, which axolotls can't digest and if they're fed too many they can get blockage. Plus the thing with having to remove the worms' jaws. Bloodworms or pellets are a good staple food, with mealworms as a very rare treat. Hopefully your adorable little axie is feeling better! :wacko:
