I'm trying to remove these very viscous eggs from a tank of Tylo. verrucosus, and mostly I'm clipping them off artificial plants. But many of them are laid on tank decorations or rocks that I need to put back in the tank. They are so delicate! and when I prod them with something the little larva moves inside and I wince, thinking I'm hurting it. Is there a easy/safe way to scrape these eggs off things so that I can move them to other places?
thanks

Hi Dawn,
The adults are usually not real aggressive toward the larvae. I've picked some eggs off but they are pretty sticky. I'd remove the whole ornament where possible. I'd let some hatch with their parents and remove the larvae later. I'm not sure if it was Eddie or Elektra but one of them hatched in the adult tank and was raised in the tank with the adults till you got it.
