My salamander

ok guys i tried to take some clear pictures of the salamander i hope you guys can see the type of salamander he is....by the way i have NO IDEA what to feed him he hasnt ate for 2 days now what do i get?

Those pictures are way to fuzzy to be helpful, unfortunately. Also, I believe this should put in with your post in the help forum. As far as foods I would go with small crickets or earthworms. You can get the worms from the backyard (if you don't use chemicals on it) or your local bait shop.

Looks like a tiger too me but not eating so not sure. what colours does he have

hes light green with dark black...ok i took another picture of him it may be clearer im not sure..

That look's like a small tiger salamander to me. Has it ate, if not you could try some worms.

Definitely a tiger sal. Keep him in some moist, but not wet dirt/coco-fiber/topsoil maybe with some mosses and plants but lots of cover. Tiger Salamanders will eat anything they can fit in their mouths (including your finger), but crickets and worms are ideal food.

oh yay well now that i no what it is..lol thanks guys..where eles can i find another tiger at?..i could always go to my grandmas and find another i want him to have a buddy

Tigers can exceed 12 inches, so unless you have at least a 20 gallon tank you might want to stick with just one. Salamanders do not really care whether they have a "buddy" or not, and in the end they might be happier without one.
