My New Eggs Have Started Hatching

Cool! I've just measured my new shelves so I can order in some customised tanks. They won't be as big as I would prefer, but it's better then what I already have.
I've been staring at my little ones, and theirs arms have not only grown longer but are forming fingers! I really, really wish I had a camera! They're sooooo cute!

. I was also thinking perhaps one female.
Their names are:
m - Sunshine
m - Sky
f - Chocolate (Choc for short)
They are all golden albi's I think. Well, they're golden yellow, with pigmentations.}

I love axies! you should try feeding them Daphnia magna when they get a little bigger. I have 300 wild-type on this diet right now, and raised hundreds on it last year. While brine shrimp are an excellent starter, daphnia will not die in freshwater, and will reproduce if they are not all eaten right away.

Good luck with the babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in the process of setting up a 4ft tank which should be completed in around 3 weeks,

I am looking to breed axie's in the near future.

Will keep you posted Jolly_oskar.

Waahoo! Thanks cori!
I would soo love to see if one of my females as eggs! Imagine me, an Axolotl Granny!
Well, the wee ones are growing fast. I now have four each in three lunch boxes, sitting on a shelf in my computer desk. I'm now giving them a mixture of mozzi larvae and blood worms. I don't have to chop the blood worms up small anymore. One out of twelve is smaller. He eats fine, but I think he was a little shaken up after having his arm bitten off. It's growing back fast though.
I brought a small container of micro worms age's ago when they were just hatchlings. I had two containers with oatmeal and water and some yeast. But found that nothing was happening after about two weeks and naturally thought it didn't work and just left the containers alone in the laundry. I had been meaning to clean them out but couldn't have been bothered (lazy me

). So today I needed something to drain some mozzi larvae with and noticed the stocking over the micro worms containers and thought 'hey, I'll use that'. I picked up the container and happened to notice something along the walls. And to my amazement, it was covered in micro worms! Both containers, their walls covered! But my babies never liked micro worms, so I'm thinking of selling some to the aquarium shop.

Some of my baby axies have started using there back legs for walking. Though their back legs aren't quite long enough so they kind of woddle (Wade/Wobble). But it's just adorable! They're going right through the blood worms though. I'm glad I've got a backup of mozzi larv.
