Oh! Good idea! I'll have to do that. Haha, yeah, parts of the screen are beginning to look white. I like our hard water sometimes, but... (It's especially not helpful for this eczema that keeps popping up on my arms!)
I'm beginning to think Velvet had some traumatic earthworm-related experiences earlier in life (haha...or maybe he's just not hungry...). Two of the three times now I've tried feeding him (reasonably sized pieces of) earthworms since I got 'im, he just kind of ignores the appetizing wiggling and goes about his business. Maybe I've just caught him at the wrong time. I'll have to try again later today. (But at this rate his sibling will get big enough to eat HIM for dinner someday -- Saffron definitely has a healthy appetite.)
He seemed all right with the worm yesterday. But today he just sort of stared at it for a moment and walked over it, or turned around. Once he snapped at it, but only because it was trying to crawl up onto his face, and then e paid it no more mind.
Must just not be hungry.
