Hey everyone!!
It's Easter and Easter means EGGS!!!

My albino man and my speckleface made baby's!!
44 eggs up untill now!
Since last week i've put them together in a plastic tank outside. Early in the morning the watertemp is arround 7-10 Celcius. The cold triggered them.

The axolotl is not piebald. It's a leucistic.

If the mother is a carrier of recessive albino genes, chances are your babies will be 50% albino and 50% leucistic. If your mother is not a carrier, your babies will probably all be leucistic.

Are there any good pics of piebalds? Are these the same as harlequins?

Piebald animals are those which are partially albino. They have large patches of white on a colored backgrounds. Leucistics are not albino.

Harlequins are 3-or-more colored.
