Moss balls... are they good for an axie tank?

Yeah, I clean mine regularly - bit of a rub + squueze using water removed from the tanks during changes. Mine sank when squeezed (to get them to soak up water) when I 1st got them too + were also from eBay.
They are apparently naturally occuring Japanese plants. They gather into a little ball, then grow that way. Will grow slowly in axie tanks though, as they prefer warmer / brighter water (but can be kept nice + healthy in axie tanks anyway)

i am waiting for mine to arrive........... i heard that when they grow large they will give birth kinda... its like the big one grows a lump and then you can pinch that part off into the baby moss ball...
i also read that they are really bitter and that's why most animals don't eat them

YAY! my moss balls arrived today a bit squashed but they look healthy... about the size of a golf ball... i got 3... so now i have the moss balls in the water and some peace lily's sticking out of the water....i think i am going to get some willow moss as well if i can find any that is.... all that i have seen is from japan... i am not sure if it would arrive alive?
