Hello all,

I have been raising my first batch of T. dobrogicus. I have about two dozen and they are morphing rather sporadically. The tank is not covered, because it is filled with foliage (I use pineapple mint). Are they likely to climb six inches of glass and escape?

Thanks.

Perhaps not likely, particularly if it´s a large morph, but definitely and entirely possible.

Definitely a possibility but I've never seen T. dobrogicus attempt to leave the water during or after morphing (but then again I've always had lids just in case). A screen lid would not be a bad idea just in case yours are particularly adventurous.
