20 years ago I had my first three T. granulosas and I kept them fully aquatic. For the first 5 years I never had a lid on the tank because I was under the impression that aquatic newts would stay in the damn water. One morning I realized I was down to 2 newts and a frantic search produced a partially dried corpse under the stove. I have never been without a tight lid since. It's a shame we always learn lessons the hard way.
well it seems you gotta learn the hard way sometimes, most times
yep, this is the first time i have seen one of my newts/sals stuck on the side of the tank, just wish my brothers camera wasnt busted so i couldve gotten a liitle better pics
