here's some more pictures of my hunny's...
they both been trying to nibble all my fingers off during their dinner... i'm sure they do it on purpose...? they're two little front feet hold onto my fingers with a chunk of meat at their nose but somehow end up grabbing a finger!!! makes me jump every time, and feels really funny!!!!

I adore the second to last picture, your odd colored gold one with the glass ball behind him. He looks like he is very curious in that picture, it is so charming!

Jasmine tell me how you get thier gills so fluffy and big, mine are stubby and hardly fluffy.

Hey Charlotte, I take em day and night... the tank is always kinda dark anyway, i use the flash with all of them.....
Thanks Rheann!!! i just have so many photos and it's so hard to choose which ones to post... and stew (the gold one) spends most the day in the corner and pops out for photo's like a little camera flirt!!!!! and they both pose when i hold the camera up.... (no,no, really!!!!! I'm not mad!!

Hey Stipe! i noticed their gills have been getting better and brighter lately, since i put this sand in,i'm hoping they stay like that!!! Bec's got strong red so i put really bright red plastic trees and she is all over the ones that match her colour!!!

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
