Poor little girl! You can even see her hip bones!

I'm sure under your care she'll put on some much needed axie rolls and fill out well. She's got a lovely coloring, and I'm sure she'll grow beautifully after she gets past this.

I can't wait to see pictures of her thriving!

(Also, at least it doesn't seem like she's been nibbled on. Now she can at least focus on putting on weight instead of regenerating)

They're ok as a treat every once in a while but as a staple - no way! Axolotls can't digest their exterior skeleton. :happy:

I've been wondering whether mealworms were ok (not that I've fed them mealworms yet). Thanks

You're feeding her with what?
I usually feed my axolotls with shrimp and tubifex

Hope to see pictures of her chubby soon xD

She's on earthworms and bloodworms daily at the moment. She's also taken a liking to waxworms so she gets those aswell if I can find them small enough!
