Question: Jelly Poop

Hi there, I'm looking for advice if anyone has seen this before. Yesterday I noticed a couple of dark gelatinous blobs in the water with my axolotl’s feces. When fishing it out to inspect it was gelatinous and springs back into shape. I smeared it to get a better look and it was filled with these round jelly sacks, some seemed to have small thin black lines in them. When I tried to pick one up it sprang back into a dark blob.

Q: Could this be unfertilized eggs or something more sinister? My axolotl is a 16 year old female (I don't have any others, just the one).

Frozen axolotl food (contains mussels, clams, fish, krill, squid, octopus, shrimp, blood work & spirulina algae) and occasionally frozen bloodworms.

I thought so too at first until I saw all the jelly sacs. She hasn't had any fecal matter like this in the past 16 years. Hopefully it is just that
