Hello! Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I am in the process of planning a new paludarium and knowing that aloe in the water due to things like water conditioner is toxic to amphibians and harmful to the skin but I haven't seen anything about them being planted in the dry spots of a paludarium. The system in question I might be adding newts or frogs to in the future once it's an older cycle. I have several small aloe plants that would probably thrive in the system but I do not want to use these plants if it could be dangerous for any future amphibians. So looking for anyone who's more familiar with how plants can leech toxins in this way. Thanks.
